Chicago, Illinois

We were lucky enough to be staying with the Wallers in their beautiful home in Naperville.  They were very keen to take us drinking downtown and met their lovely friends Tammy and Eric.  It all got very much out of control, Patty nearly lost her cool and was close to starting a good old fashioned pub brawl.

After a great weekend in Naperville, we decided to give Patty and Graham a break from their duties as our new parents and headed to downtown Chicago. Meaning: DEEP DISH PIZZAS!

We went to Millennium Park where reality is distorted and the fountains spit.

Only 3,953 miles from home. Walkable I'd say.

A Roaring Lion in Chicago Zoo. Or was it yawning...

Graham and Patty took us for an autumn bike ride followed by ice cream!

On this unusual day of exercise we found a windmill and climbed it successfully.

After riding the Ferris wheel and enjoying a swing ride, we stumbled across this bizarre creature lurking around the Navy Pier. BEWARE.

For most of the time we were staying in Naperville the weather was glorious so we took advantage by playing games and drinking Margaritas in the garden.  This particular one involved throwing beanbags into holes (Alex and I were really good).
Daniel and Spike hanging out.

Alex and Paul keeping it real.
Thank you so much to these lovely people for looking after us both and showing us a bloody good time. Hope to see you all again soon.

P.s. Katie likes leopards.

Welcome to Miami......

 South beach style
 We like Lithuanians
 Katie made some friends (absinthe)
 LADS

Apparently that is a dog , we (almost) got tattoos.  Katie woke up with a nosering and I woke up with a skull. We struggled to make our 4pm flight that day.

Disney World, Orlando, Florida

Walt Disney World is perfect. Everything is perfect. It's the weirdest place too. It was bizarre to see a tonne of adults and not that many kids there. A Disney addict we met on the flight to Orlando was staying there for 15 days, her 17th visit in as many years.

The towel arrangements were pretty awesome.

Disney's 'bread and butter'. It was definitely cake.

 THE Magic Kingdom Castle!

There was a safari in the Animal Kingdom. We saw every type of Safari Animal going. All in less than half an hour.

Cheetah - top left hand corner. The Jeep was fast.

Expedition Everest was our top ride. followed by Space Mountain, Tower of Terror and the Aerosmith Rock n Rollercoaster.

In Epcot we ventured into the future and this is how our lives are predicted to turn out: http://sse.disney.go.com/media/ap/spaceship-earth/static/postcard.html#globekioskvideo/2010-09-24/f95721d7300b99a

'Living' statues, but Belle is wearing a wig. You can find them in France (Epcot).

Our last evening was spent in the Lady and the Tramp Italian restaurant at Magic Kingdom. We ate spaghetti and made up a fake anniversary in order to get badges, decorations and a free dessert.

We only saw Mickey once in 7 days. He's a very elusive character. However, Pluto and Goofy love the limelight.

We aren't internet savvy enough to make these any bigger, but if you can strain your eyes enough here are some more pictures from Disney World.
